London Rocks!
John didn’t go in to work until about noon today so we walked up to the local coffee shop for a cappuccino and some breakfast. Later, Jack and I joined Amy and the kids for a trip to the Knightsbridge area. We went to the world renowned Harrod’s.That place is crazy. It is so large and luxurious and ritzy….it makes Saks look like the Bargain Barn. It is 5 stories tall and it takes up over 4 acres of land. And there are over 500 departments! I bought both of my boys replica Chelsea football jerseys. It was so nice out we decided to walk back from Knightsbridge to the flat….it was a good, long walk. John got home and we had take out Thai food for dinner.
John’s work is going well. He will be done some time on Friday and then he is officially on vacation. Don’t get me wrong….he has been having fun but he has also been spending the majority of his time working. Come Friday he is unplugging. We still have quite a bit of London site seeing to do. And Sunday it is off to Paris for a few days.
We are loving London more than we ever thought. We have both forgotten that this is a three week trip because we are so in the swing of things here. Life here feels so natural. Don’t worry (I can see the moms gasping as they read this), we aren’t moving to London…..we can’t afford to live here!
But London does rock!

I really do think I could get a job that would allow us to live here. What do you guys think back in the ATL?
I’m here missing you like crazy, and you say a thing like that.
make sure you have a spare room
I think it would be great! Can we get Trent a job there too!!! I love Harrods!
Only if you have a Mother in law suite! I’ll start packing.
With at least 2 bedrooms.
Don’t forget the private jet to fly us “po” folks across the pond
