Blending In

We took our first stroll to Holland Park today. It is a nice park with a great walking/jogging path, soccer fields, playgrounds, etc. Jack was mesmerized watching all of the children running around. I promised him that he’d be joining them soon enough……gotta work on crawling first.

John and I both feel like we blend in pretty well and don’t stand out as tourists. The funny thing is, I have lost count of how many people, mostly Londoners, have approached John and asked him for directions somewhere. We get a kick out of that. We got separated in a grocery store and when I went looking for him I had a hard time spotting him. Almost every man in there had on a gray or black wool coat and had a shaved head or a black hat on! It was crazy.

Went to an early dinner at a pub that served excellent Mexican food. Sounds crazy but it really was quite good. Tomorrow we may try to get up early and walk up to Kensington Palace and Hyde Park before John has to work tomorrow afternoon. Hope to get some good photos. Stay tuned!
